My name is Mark Biernat and I am the creator of Learnfast languages. I am not a linguist, rather a language learner, and it is really hard for me to learn languages, believe me.
My experience with languages was, I taught English abroad for ten years. However, in the US I am an Economics professor and a consult in the accounting field.
I work on the program with my wife Katarzyna. Kate’s has post-graduate degrees including in the medical field, but like me, she has a passion for languages. She also learned a language to fluency as an adult.
Together we have been experimenting with adults to learn a language. We have been experimenting with different methods for this program for ten years.
The simple reveals itself after the complex has been exhausted
Learnfast Languages evolved from a visual computer language program, with many options, similar to what is on the market currently, to a simple pure audio program.
We made this radical change because it was more effective. Our program does not have the whistles, bells, and shine of a software program, but it works. It works for many reasons, one being people are mobile these days. After working all day, people do not want to be chained to a computer to learn a language. A pure audio program gives you that freedom.
The genesis of Learnfast languages was:
I wanted to create a language program that was designed for people who feel they do not have a gift for learning a foreign language as an adult.
My conception of the way this program works is not based on abstract theoretical ideas from academia, rather, from the struggles, I personally went thought to a learn language as an adult.
I want to transform the process for the aspiring learner, so they can actually walk away from a program, forming sentences in a foreign language, and understanding the gist of what people are saying with confidence.
While other programs promise, I deliver. If you use my program you will be speaking at a rudimentary level within a month or two, depending on level of motivation.
The tall tales you hear about people picking up languages because it is in the air, unfortunately lives in the realm of mythology rather than reality. I taught languages for over ten years and I all saw were people who either had direct or indirect exposure as a child or studied for ten years straight.
Objectively if you use my program for a few months, you will be able to converse in your target language, rather than fluency. The good news is conversing is all you need. Once you can communicate at a basic level, the training wheels come off and you will not need programs as much as using the language. You will be able to pick up more and more on your own. You can rely on other resources like movies and books and music. I fell in love with my wife at the communication level. It worked for me.
